Don't get me wrong, vintage can be adorable. If you do it right, a vintage decor style can be cute, classy, and appealing. But there is a different between vintage and dated. If you are trying to sell your home, here are dated features you should ditch right now.

Just no. Get rid of this now. They are dated, dirty, and occasionally full of asbestos. Get rid of your popcorn ceilings. This will make your home seem a lot less dated immediately.

Green Appliances

These are very dated objects that no longer belong in your kitchen. Ditch the green and go for white or better yet, nice updated smart appliances, or stainless steel. This will also make your house much more appealing to buyers, as nice kitchens are a major selling point for home buyers.

Shag Carpet

Shag carpet has been dated for decades. Don't let your carpet date you home. Replace it with some new carpet or other up-to-date flooring. New flooring can also give you home a very nice feel that will appeal to buyers as soon as they walk in.
